Product Usage 

       This product is mainly used to detect the quality of the phosphating film, passivation film, electroplating film, conversion film and other films on the surface of steel, stainless steel and other metals, and to test the integrity, uniformity and corrosion resistance of the film. It is suitable for the detection of various metal surface films.

Performance characteristics

       This product is composed of various indicators, corrosives, etc. It does not need power supply, and can be directly dripped, brushed, and soaked. It is fast and efficient. The phenomenon is obvious (color oil light blue changes to red), clearly visible.

Instructions

       1. Pre-treatment of workpiece: Degrease and clean the metal workpiece to be tested, then dry it or dry it for use;

       2. Local inspection of the corrosion resistance of the passivation film: drop or brush this product on the surface of the above-treated workpiece, keep it wet, and the longer it turns red, the stronger the corrosion resistance of the passivation film.

       3. Overall detection of corrosion resistance of passive film: apply this product on the surface of the above-mentioned treated stainless steel and keep it in a wet state; or soak the above-mentioned treated stainless steel in the detection solution, the longer the time it turns red, the more passive The corrosion resistance of the chemical film is stronger.

       4. Testing the uniformity and integrity of the passivation film: apply this product to the above-mentioned treated stainless steel surface and keep it wet; or immerse the above-mentioned treated stainless steel in the detection solution, and judge according to the color change of the stainless steel surface : First of all, the red area has a thin passivation film and poor corrosion resistance. This is the area where the stainless steel surface is more likely to be corroded and rusted. Take out the workpiece and observe, the red area is relatively thin. The passive film is poor and the corrosion resistance is poor. It is also the area where the stainless steel surface is more likely to be corroded and rusted.

Precautions 

       1. This product is slightly corrosive. If it splashes into the eyes, mouth, skin and clothing, rinse immediately with clean water.

       2. This product is sealed and stored in a cool place and is effective for a long time.
