I. Overview:

      HC-516 is a phosphite polymer, with anti-oxidation and flame retardancy, soluble in organic solvents, insoluble in water, and hydrolyzed in water; Ester is stable and not easy to undergo transesterification reaction. It can be used as flame retardant and antioxidant, and has good adhesion to inorganic materials such as metal and glass. It has the functions of catalytic curing and reducing baking temperature when applied in coatings.

       Solubility: dioctyl, toluene, xylene and gasoline, etc.

3. Uses and features:

       1. When used in unsaturated polyester FRP, it can improve the mechanical properties and anti-aging of FRP.

       2. It can be used for titanium dioxide/ceramic clay with high solid content. In epoxy coatings, the dosage of titanium dioxide and solvent can be reduced, and the filling amount of clay can be increased. At the same time, it does not change the viscosity of the system and increases the adhesion to glass and metal.

       3. Improve the filling amount and coating gloss of most pigments and fillers in saturated and unsaturated polyesters, and improve the wear resistance of titanium dioxide-containing acrylic resin coatings.

       4. Improve the dispersibility of most pigments and fillers in polyvinyl acetate latex paint, the abrasion resistance of filling and coating, and the dispersibility of barite powder in chlorinated rubber.

       5. Improve the adhesion of melamine resin to steel, iron, aluminum, tin, brass and other metals, glass and inorganic materials, and improve the adhesion of polyester, polyurethane and epoxy resin to mild steel.

       6. It is used to treat inorganic fillers such as metal powders to improve the dispersion and sedimentation resistance of the fillers.

4. Usage and dosage

       It is added in the pigment grinding stage, and the added amount is 0.5~0.8% of the total amount of paint and ink. The specific amount can be selected according to different systems and different types of pigments.
